The Strokes鼓擊樂團1998年成軍於美國紐約，是美國知名的獨立搖滾樂團indie rock band，成員包括主唱Julian Casablancas(並負責鍵盤、吉他、貝斯、鼓、合音、guitar synthesizer、harmonica)、主吉他手Nick Valensi (兼鍵盤、Backing vocals), 節奏吉他手Albert Hammond Jr.(兼Vocals, Melodica)、貝斯手Nikolai Fraiture和鼓手Fabrizio Moretti (兼Backing vocals、Tenor Guitar)
2001年第一張專輯Is This It的經典地位已經確立。被NME雜誌選為2000s十年間最好的專輯第一名(the greatest album of the decade)，另一份類似的榜單滾石雜誌Rolling Stone將其評為第二；2011年3月發行Angles搖滾觀點新專輯，是樂團沉寂5年後的力作。
